How to Search for Equipment
ShopCarWash offers several ways to find the car wash equipment you need. Here is how to make the most of each one.

Using the Search Bar
The search bar is available at the top of every page. Type keywords to find equipment quickly.
- Search by brand name (e.g., "PDQ", "MacNeil", "Coleman Hanna")
- Search by model number for exact matches
- Use general terms like "tunnel brush" or "spot-free rinse" for broader results
- Combine keywords: "PDQ LaserWash" narrows results more than either word alone

Browsing by Category
ShopCarWash organizes equipment into industry-specific categories. Browse when you want to explore what is available rather than search for something specific.
- Start from the homepage category grid or the Browse page
- Categories include Tunnel Systems, In-Bay Automatic, Self-Serve, Water Treatment, and more
- Parent categories show listings from all subcategories
- Subcategory chips let you drill down into specific equipment types

Using Filters
Narrow your results with filters on the Browse page to find exactly what you need.
- Filter by condition: New, Used, or Refurbished
- Set a price range to stay within budget
- Filter by state to find equipment near you
- Filter by brand for manufacturer-specific searches
- Combine multiple filters for precise results

Saving Searches
Save your search criteria to get notified when new matching listings are posted.
- After searching, click "Save Search" to save your current filters
- You will receive email alerts when new listings match your criteria
- Manage your saved searches from your Dashboard
- Delete saved searches you no longer need to reduce email noise

Using Your Watchlist
Add listings to your watchlist to keep track of equipment you are interested in.
- Click the bookmark icon on any listing to add it to your watchlist
- Access your watchlist from the Dashboard
- You will be notified if a watched listing has a price change
- Remove items from your watchlist when they are no longer relevant
Tips for Finding Deals
- Save searches for equipment you want and wait for new listings — you will be first to know when something is posted
- Check the "Oldest" sort option — listings that have been active longer often have more motivated sellers
- Expand your location filter — shipping costs may be worth it for a great deal on larger equipment
- Browse parent categories, not just subcategories — sometimes sellers categorize equipment differently than you expect
